Advisory practice · Corona, California
Everyone you call about your house wants the listing. I don't.
I'm Jumaane Bey, a licensed California broker. I don't list homes, I won't ask you to sign anything, and I don't take a cut of your sale. I tell you what you're actually looking at — and if you need an agent, I introduce you to one who's been licensed at least fifteen years.
New home sales leadership, mortgage, and brokerage. I've seen how the sausage is made.
Not a fee, retainer, or deposit. Ever. Consultants charge upfront for this.
Verified against the state record. Most referral networks have no floor.
No listing agreement, no exclusivity, no representation agreement. An agent you later choose will have their own paperwork — that's between you and them.
The part nobody says out loud
How I actually get paid.
You should ask this of everyone you talk to about your house. Most won't answer it plainly. Here's mine, in full.
-
You never pay me anythingNo fee at the call, no fee at closing, no fee if you decide to do nothing. There is no version of this where you're invoiced.
-
If I introduce you to an agent and a deal closes, their brokerage pays meA percentage of the commission they earned, through escrow, under an agreement signed before you're introduced. It doesn't raise your commission or your closing costs.
-
Which means I have one bias, and you should know itI get paid when something closes. So if I ever tell you not to sell — and I do — take it seriously, because it costs me to say it.
-
I take nothing from lenders, title, or escrowNo fee, no gift, no arrangement. Use whoever you want. If anyone in this industry tells you that you must use their lender, that's worth reporting.
I am not your agent. I don't represent you in a purchase or sale, don't negotiate for you, and don't handle your money or documents. The agent I introduce you to does all of that, and they answer to you.
Where you are
Three conversations I have most often.
Each one starts the same way — you tell me the situation, I tell you what I actually think. Nothing after that is automatic.
Thinking about selling
What it's worth, what you'd actually keep, and whether now is the moment. Run the net sheet before you take a single listing appointment.
SellingZero equity, or behind
You owe more than it's worth, or payments have slipped, and you still need out. There are six paths and not all of them end in a sale.

I send you clients who've already had the honest conversation and know what they want. Written terms, sliding-scale fee, no desk fee and no cap.
The termsStart at HomeIQ Academy
Buying is a different problem and it has its own home. HomeIQ walks you through readiness, credit, and what you can actually afford — then hands you to the same agent network.
Go to HomeIQWhat the call is
Twenty minutes. No slides, no pitch, no next step you didn't ask for.
You tell me the situation
What you own, what you owe, what's forcing the timing. No credit pull, no property address required, nothing signed.
I tell you what I actually think
Including when the answer is wait, or refinance, or call a bankruptcy attorney instead of a realtor. Those answers pay me nothing and I give them anyway.
One introduction
To an agent licensed at least fifteen years who closes in your area and your situation. One name, with a reason attached. If they're wrong, tell me and we go again.
Client outcomes, agent count, and a named story go here once they exist. Left marked and empty on purpose — invented proof is the fastest way to lose the exact people this page is written for.
If you'd rather not talk to anyone yet, run the net sheet first. It takes two minutes, gives you a real number, and nobody calls you unless you ask.

Jumaane Bey
Licensed California real estate broker, DRE #02076038. Ten years across new home sales leadership and brokerage, an MBA, and a PMP. Based in Corona and working throughout the Inland Empire.
Why I built this as an advisory practice. I spent years on the builder side watching people make six-figure decisions in a single afternoon with nobody neutral in the room. Every person they talked to needed a transaction to happen. I wanted one conversation in the process where that wasn't true.
Questions people actually ask
Straight answers, including the awkward ones.
What does the call cost?
Nothing. Not at the call, not at closing, not if you never do anything. There's no fee, retainer, or deposit at any stage, and I never ask a homeowner for money under any label.
Then what's in it for you?
If I introduce you to an agent and a transaction closes, that agent's brokerage pays me a percentage of the commission they earned, through escrow. It's a broker-to-broker arrangement that's been standard in real estate for decades, and it's disclosed in writing to you and to them before you're introduced.
It does not increase your commission, your closing costs, or your price. If nothing closes, nobody pays me anything.
Are you my agent?
No, and this matters. I don't represent you in a purchase or sale, don't negotiate on your behalf, and don't handle your funds or documents. The agent I introduce you to does all of that and owes you fiduciary duties. My role begins and ends with the conversation and the introduction.
Why fifteen years for the agents you name?
Fifteen years means an agent has worked a rising market, a stall, and a correction. Someone licensed in 2016 has mostly sold homes into rising demand — a very different skill from closing a deal when the appraisal comes in short and the buyer walks.
There are excellent agents with five years of experience. I'm just not the way to find them.
Will you tell me not to sell?
Regularly. Sometimes the numbers say wait, sometimes they say talk to your servicer, and sometimes they say see a bankruptcy attorney before you see a realtor. Those conversations pay me nothing, which is exactly why you should weigh them.
Are you a lender?
Bey & Group Real Estate, Inc. does not originate mortgage loans. I don't require, request, or accept anything of value in exchange for pointing you toward any lender, title company, escrow company, or home warranty provider. Use whoever you like.
I'm buying, not selling.
Buying has its own home at HomeIQ Academy, which walks through readiness, credit, and affordability properly rather than in a twenty-minute call. It routes into the same agent network when you're ready.
Book it
Tell me the situation. I'll come back within a business day.
This goes to me, not a call center. Nothing here obligates you to anything and there is never a cost.
If you have a recorded sale date or auction date, say so in the notes. Those get handled first, regardless of when they arrive.
Got it
I'll come back within one business day. If you flagged a deadline, sooner.
